Just picked up a 32" Sony BRAVIA Monolithic. Any game looks beautiful on it. And once your done playing the TV looks even more beautiful when its off lol. Was told by a service tech to never buy a LG, this is because according to him due to their habit of putting a lot of speakers into their TV, you will encounter problems with them a couple of years down the road. The speaker magnets apparently interfere with the backlight.

i own a smsung 55" led 8 series... its gotto be the best thing ive ever gamed on..

I own Samsung's 32'' Series 6 LED TV.
It's full HD.
Much brighter than my old LCD.
There is no sound problem as mentioned earlier.
No need to buy a home theater.
Speakers are average not bad.
My Xbox360 games look just awesome, much clarity

I've got a 42" LG scarlet and a 32" scarlet and i dont see a drop in quality on the bigger one. Does anyone know the contrast ratios on the samsung LCD and LED tvs?

Samsung LCDs has 1 lakh - 2 lakhs constrast ratio.
While LEDs has 5 lakhs - 50 lakhs constrast ratio.
See the difference !!!
LEDs are much brighter

Image burn is a serious problem for Plasma.
So ppl prefer LCD over Plasmas.
Longetivity is also very low for Plasmas
Although quality of Plasmas is better.

I bought a LED TV of Samsung 6 Series.
32 inch for 55000.
Its Full HD
If u have that much budget give it a try.
Its really Imba

the truth is that plasmas are better then lcd'd and led's, the panasonic manufactures the best plasmas in the mkt.
my frnd just bought panasonic v series plasma, i dnt see any issues relating to image burns, we both play xbox on it togethar....and seriously, the clarity, the brightness, and the motion flow are outstanding and actualy way better then my samsung series 6 lcd tv and led tv recently bought by my another frnd.
if you wanan go for bigger size tvs like 40'' and above then plasmas are THE BEST. Simply unbeatable.
and they are pocket friendly too

My friend bought the v20d model just 2 weeks back, it's one of the latest tv's launched by panasonic in 2010. he got it for 66k....the above linked tv is also a good tv, has all the features of a good plasma tv. But the thing is if you are spending 60k fr this one then you can also add another 6k for the v series plasma....which has a much higher contrast ratio i.e 50,00,000 : 1 and a tonne of internet connectivity options like wi-fi, u.s.b ports, viera cast nd much more. well, 6k can makes a lot of difference here.
